What happens to sunlight in the ocean?
Physical Oceanographer Emmanuel Boss studies the relationship between light and ocean water. He uses satellites to see how much light bounces off of the ocean’s surface. And he spends time on the water, using different tools to figure out what forms of life and other objects are in Earth’s oceans.
